its been excatly one month since my last updated and i do belive that my xanga deserve another entry... so i will try to update wat had happend in the past month..!! n as usual.. most of my updates are rather long... so you hv been warned.. haha..!!

well... back to hk for 2 months already... everything has been doing quite well actually... most of the stuff that happend did go according to my plan although there are several things that i did not account for..!! by saying this i am implying job apps.. of coz..!!

well.. my plan was back to hk... try to apply for as many jobs as possible that are related to the aviation industry... gain some interview experience skill.. and by the time i do the interview with the three companies that i think are the most crucial... HAECO HAESL (my last year summer trainee company) and CX.. i will be ready..!! so after i got back to hk.. i did hv quite a few interviews... i would say around 6 to 8 (including the CX MT interviews.. haha..) ... n did come back with 2 offers.. but most of these jobs are not realli wat i want.. so i rejected them... important to note that I am extremely keen to get into CX MT but the 2 offers did not include MT.. haha..)

so time fly and finally i got the chance to interview with the 3 companies that i really wanna work for... interviewed with CX ET in the end of june... HAECO GT early july.. n will be going to HAESL next fri.. and today after a month of exhausting.. torturing and seemingly endless wait.. CX finally contact me to do the second round interview..!! so yea.. haha.. finally passed the first round.. haha.. happy about that .. but at the same time.. i am always thinking if this is just another step closer to nothing.. or its another step to join cx..!! hope the latter will come true.. haha..!!! well.. cx second round will be doing a presentation... another aptitude test.. then a q&a period.. so seems like another tough process coming.. and i hope i can do well on it..!! august 6 is the date.. n i won't know the presentation topic till 10 days before my presentation date.. so really curious about it.. haha..!!

regarding HAECO.. i was offered the job a couple days ago actualli.. to be exact.. wednesday of this week.. fairly exicted about that too... the idea of working in the airport.. learning about aircraft maintenance.. but wat i didn't expect is the extremely low basic salary level.. however.. at the same time.. i was told that there will be additional allowance for working overtime.. that will bring the salary to a reasonable level.. but i doubt that in the begining.. i will be receiving any of these allowance..!!! but to hv an offer from HAECO really gave me a vote of confidence in my job hunting.. haha..!!

well.. other than job apps... life has been fairly simple.. nothing spectacular happend.. as usual.. meet up with hs friends.. purdue friends.. eat.. sleep.. watch tv.. haha.. quite a relaxing periods actuali.. haha.. one thing though.. my blood pressure is realli not doing well as of late.. so i will try to eat less fat stuff for a while.. (but yea.. i just came back from tsui wa and ate a satay beef ho fun.. haha.. its just so tempting).. seriously.. i think while i was in purdue.. da stuff that i ate were fairly oily.. fat too.. like those steak in applebees or french onion soup in tgi.. oilly stuff that i cook.. haha.. but my blood pressure was still rather stable (excluding my sophomore year though).. now in hk.. da stuff that i ate are still similar.. but maybe i ate outside more becoz of da stupid pipe renovation at my home that has last for more than a month causing no kitchen for da whole period... so yea.. my blood pressure has been in the hypertension region for a while..!! any suggestion to get it down?? i hv been eating celery quite a lot lately too.. haha..!!

any more update.. hm.. can't think of really.. haha.. well.. i do hv a very long wishlist now.. haha.. n i hope i can satisfy my wish partially after i started working.. haha.. but for now.. i really wanna go on a trip..!! i want to go on a holiday..!! but yea.. its not like i m not hving a holiday now.. haha..!!

yesterday... has to be stupidest day ever...!! so unlucky for the whole day...!!

the whole morning and afternoon were fine... hm.. sort of... coz ppl r still renovating the stupid pipe so every morning at 8 am... a very loud construction sound will start... not possible to sleep at all...  evening.. things started to get more stupid..!! so this weekend is my uncle's weeding.. so my dad and all of his cousins will be back to hk..!! we went out with the family to go to yung kee to eat fried goose..!! tempted by the very delicious "皮蛋" appetizer.. i decided i will eat one.. thinking that i do not eat it very often anyway.. turned out... my stupid blood pressure rose to 170/110 this morning..!! damm it.. so dizzy for the whole day..!! so yea.. i end up ate a lot of celery today.. haha..!!

ok.. thats not it.. in yung kee... the stupid waiter was fucking "inchy"... seriously.. i wanna slap her face..!! since our party was quite large.. 19 ppl.. we sepearted into two tables.. each dish X2.. we were waiting for the final dish.. a tofu pot.. the first one was out.. so we were assuming the second will follow soon.. wait for around 15 min.. not out yet.. so we asked the waiter.. she said.. "yea.. its coming.. don't worry..!! 5 min..!!" end up .. wait for more than 20 min.. no.. maybe more..!! n when she brought out the dish.. she gave this shit face to the table..!! i was gonna yelled at the waiter.. but thinking that all of my uncles and cousins are around  me.. i decided to say "YEA.. i ordered this dish in my last generation..!!" which i think i was kind a stupid to say that.. but i was so mad..!! wat a good service yung kee provides..!!

ok.. next.. after yung kee.. we are trying to catch the cab to go home.. n when it was my turn... i approached the taxi.. but the moment i was gonna open the door.. the stupid taxi driver drove away..!! i was like WTF.. ging mo loi..!! wat did i do..!!

after that.. got home.. i tried to take off my contact lense.. well.. this is a new contact that i just got it a couple days ago.. especially designed for ppl that cannot focus on light (wat u called it in english?) but the catch is that it is kind a hard to take it off... since the position of the contact is rather important.. the contact realli provided a better vision.. but to take it off.. is a real pain in da ass..!! took me more than half an hour to take if off..!! i was like DAMN it..!! in the end i found out a way to take it off.. that is put some contact solution on your finger.. then the contact will come out easily..!!

o well.. that is da series of unforunate events.. nothing special.. but when i think about it.. its rather funny.. haha.. all of these happend in less than 4 hours..!! n somehow.. da commercial "tomorrow will be a better day" stuck on my mind.. haha..!!

well... finally its the time to face the reality..!! the much waited reply has come... n bad news has arrived..!! so i got rejected by my dream job..!! o well... at least i tried hard enough.. n i hv a second chance..!! now.. i hv to concentrate on friday..!!

don't wanna think about that anymore..!!! but can't reali focus now..!! no.. not now.. but for the past few days..!!!

ok... i hvn't updated xanga this frequently... but these past 4 days is quite an experience to me... and yea.. i think it is worthwhile to write it down..!!

went to airport 3 times in 4 days.. tuesday... thursday and friday..!!! tuesday for cx first round... thursday for HIAS interview... then today... for cx second round..!! first of all.. i thought i didn't pass the first round.. i was so pesimistic about it..!! ok.. the reason that i was pesimistic about cx's 1st round is due to the fact that cx told me earlier in the email that the second round will be on friday.. so i was thinking if by thursday.. i didn't get a call.. i would assume i didn't get through..!! but yea... i got the call at the end of thursday.. at the most unexpected time.. 17:20.. inviting me to go to cx city today..!! o yea.. by da way.. da HIAS interivew yesterday... its kind a sux.. coz i went all the way to the airport onli to get interview for less than half an hour..!!

today... experience the most intensive interivew i hv ever attended so far.. well.. its not like i hv attend a lot anyway... haha..!! i hv to arived at cx city at 8:30 in the morning.. so i woke up at 6 am.. took a quick shower.. dress up.. then start my long journey to cx city..!! arrived cx.. then the long assesment process begin..!! the whole process started around 8:45am and it ended around 1 something .. thats almost 5 hours of intensive work.. thinking.. discussion.. n everything..!!

da process itself.. involves 2 group discussions.. n 2 assesement tests..!! da group discssions... very hard..!! first is about merging two companies... while the other one is more related to calculation.. involving production planning and maximization..!! i think i didn't do that well on the first one.. but did try to make it up on the second group discussion..!! the first one actualli is fairly simple... but due to different opinion.. the discussion became rather complicated.. and kind of deviated from the original task..!! the second one.. it wanted you to produce a certain number of product using the available manufacturing plant.. but during the manufacturing process... you will face some issues such as people calling in sick.. machine break down.. staff issues.. so will all these different issues.. you need to be able to produce the specified requirement within the assigned time frame..!!

next da assesement test.. one english.. n math.. each test for 35 min..!! n to my surprise.. the english one was quite easy.. da math.. was easy too.. but maybe i was too careful.. so i couldn't finished all the math questions.. maybe 3 or 4 left unanswerd.. but i do hope that all of my previous answers are correct..!!

after da test.. an hour lunch break.. then we got to tour the cathay city... saw the aircraft simulator.. cabin mock up crew.. flight training... and IOLTC (i think thats the name).. intergrated opreation something.. can't remember..!! very cool...!! n after the tour... i got this feeling...

" I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANNA WORK HERE..!!"

well... anyway.. i m done with da second round.. n to be honest.. if i couldn't proceed further.. i would say i hv no regret.. i did try my best..!! i gave everything that i could n i think i learnt a lot from the whole experience..!! i will still be sad if they rejected me.. but o well.. thats life.. i will move on.. !! but for now.. lets hope i will be able to advance to the next level..!!

by da way.. these all interview are so expensive..!!! one round trip from casueway to tung chung will be $20.1.. from my house to causeway.. $4.1.. from tung chung to cx city.. $3.5 so thats 30 bucks each way.. 60 bucks round trip.. each day.. not taken into account being late.. so hv to take taxi to cover it..!! well.. one word.. its sux.. haha..!!

well... hvn't updated xanga for a while.. so here it goes.. another entry..!!

back to hk for approximately 2 weeks already..!! the first week... didn't do much.. except meet up and catch up with friends again..!! fairly jeng n relaxing.. haha..!! no stress..!! but after the first week... job hunting start to bother me..!!

the much waited interview with cathay.. finally took place yesterday...!! how did it go?? I don't know... hv to wait..!! hope i can passed this round..!! but seriously... i think i did a decent job.. although i believe i could do it much better..!! my brain was kind a slow that day..!! da interviewer told me to give a 5 min speech about internet marketing.. n to be honest.. i was kind a shock with the topic.. so anyway.. i gave the presentation.. for like 4 min and 15 sec.. then i started to jiggle a bit.. coz i ran out of idea on wat i should say.. haha.!! anyway.. after the speech.. asked normal question regarding current aviation issue... one of the question.. list 3 main challenge in the current aviation industry... a fairly easy question.. but i dunno why.. i was too slow..!! i said callenge from low cost airline to full service carreir (which i think is a very good answer)... global security.. (another good answer).. n STUCK..!! hai... seriously.. rising fuel price would be another quality answer.. but i couldn't come up with that..!!

anyway.. after the interview... went to get my driver's license.. yea.. i can drive in hk now..!! but i cost me 900 bucks..!!! went back to causeway.. bought baked pork chop rice from cafe de coral.. then went home to take a nap.. coz seriously.. i was reali tired after the interview.. kind a exhausted..!!

today.. woke up.. didn't feel that well.. kind a dizzy.. has to be due to the fact i slept with my hair wet yesterday..!!! o well.. check email to see any reply from cathay.. but nothing yet..!!! so spent to rest of day.. watching tv... go online..!!! n constantly checking email...!! n maybe becoz of this.. my mood kind a went downhil.. become kind a sad..!! not onli just becoz of cathay.. but last week.. i hv applied to more than 15 companies.. but none of them hv replied me yet..!! haha.. but seriously... i got the most unexpected call at the most unexpected time.. TWICE.. haha...!! at 6 pm.. while i was watching dragon ball gt.. got two calls in the span of 30 mins asking for interview.. haha..!! so my mood just go skyrocket again.. haha.!! so happy that i can hv more inteviews.. so i can improve my interviewing skill..!!

by da way "學警出更" just started to air on tvb.. kind a liked it so far..!!! yesterday.. fiona sit.. die jor. .haha..!! yea.. finally can get rid of her extremely annoying voice.. haha..!! looking forward to it now.. haha..!!
